Im at my desk its about 11:30am and im sleepily typing away... when this random lady walks into the office asking if anyone drives a green SUV, which of course I do.
So I say "yes i drive one, did someone hit it" (because why else would you walk around an office building asking who drives a a green SUV?) She answers "Do you drive it often?" me, with an are you crazy look on my face "well yes its how I got to work this morning."
She then continues to explain that an African American woman in a green SUV almost hit her and she is looking for "this woman" to get an apology. As im sure you plainly know im white with blonde hair... it wasnt me. She proceeds to tell everyone in my office rather loudly that she is also going to be calling the police because "this woman" should not be allowed to drive. Exit random lady.
Fast forward about 20 minuets. Another lady that works in the office across the patio from mine(who I see every morning and park next to) walks over and talks with Jack(my boss).
Sadly it is still about this woman. She did in fact call the cops and they are here and they want to question me. She is now saying that it is my SUV that almost "killed" her.
So I walk downstairs tell the officer my name and that Ive been in the office at my desk since 8 this morning. He asks if anyone else has driven my car since then, no is my polite response. He then laughs and says "this is going to bite her in the butt" to which I also laugh. He then asks which office im in and then tells me not to worry this lady is crazy.
So here I am back at my desk going WTF
